This application provides a comprehensive overview of the wine and agricultural landscape in Paso Robles, a region characterized by gently rolling hills dotted with live oak trees, vineyards, and farmland. It offers detailed information on local wineries, farms, olive oil producers, roadside food stands, and notable restaurants within California's Central Coast.

Designed for iOS devices running OS 8.0 or higher, the app features a substantial database of over 200 entries encompassing wineries, olive oil tastings, farm tours, food providers, and dining establishments. Data is stored locally, eliminating the need for an internet connection to access basic information, though an internet connection is required for Google Map updates.

The map data is cached within the device to facilitate touring in areas with limited or no cellular service. Users can filter locations based on type—whether winery, olive oil producer, farm, or food stand—and view approximate distances from their current position, provided location services are enabled.

Each location includes a detailed view with relevant information and options to launch the map application for directions, visit websites, or contact via phone or email. Users can also send feedback or updates directly from within the app to the relevant websites. Real-time Twitter feeds from local wineries, restaurants, and attractions are accessible, along with the ability to post updates and replies if a Twitter account is linked.

Future updates will introduce features such as user reviews, the ability to mark favorite locations, event calendars, and highlights of recommended activities. The developers invite user feedback through the app's note feature to enhance data accuracy and expand their directory.

Note: As many back roads in Paso Robles may be outside cell coverage, it is advisable to pre-load maps while within reception to ensure smooth navigation during your visit. The app retains contact and address details locally but relies on Google Maps for real-time mapping updates.
